Please join us for an afternoon of celebrating the coming of Christmas through an afternoon of Caroling at Village Mosaic!

Village Mosaic is one of the six Fontbonne Ministries and offers a variety of fun and engaging programs for seniors in South Etobicoke.

Meet at 49 McCaul St. at 6:30.

Join us as we walk along King Street, between University and Spadina to analyze accessibility within Toronto. We will also reflect on how we can make our churches and young adults gatherings more accessible for those with visible and non-visible impairments.

At September's Theology on Tap, Peter and Jessica Galopoulos provided an invaluable introductory crash course in good financial stewardship. Money is as prevalent in our society as it was to the Jewish tradition of the old testament and the Roman Empire in Jesus's time. These experiences and the Wisdom of Christ on money are contained within the verses of the Bible and provide us guidance on financial management, prudence, and charity.

Please join us for a day of prayerful reflection, fellowship, and sharing. Facilitated by Dr. Josephine Lombardi from St. Augustine's Seminary. Concluded with Reconciliation and Holy Mass at St. Peter's Church.

In August of this year, I participated in the "Living Faith" Pilgrimage to North Bay. It was organized by Faith Connections and the Federation of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie. I wanted to share with others what my experience was like and what I learned about "Living Faith".

My experience at the retreat was in one word: amazing. It taught me a big lesson, and that is that happiness does not lie in achieving what society calls “success".

'Season of Creation' enjoins us to put our faith into action. One concrete way in which we can care for our common home is to participate in cleanup efforts of our local environment.

This year, the Archdiocese of Toronto is joining together with Faith Connections to invite you to a shoreline cleanup at Woodbine Beach. Supplies – gloves, bags, etc. – will be provided.

From the Fall 2015 issue of Springs of Hope: For Sister Marie Kilcullen, knitting is a soothing challenge. “It takes patience and tenacity,” she says, “while being relaxing and forgiving.” On Mondays at 1 p.m., she and Kristin Strong, Program Coordinator, welcome volunteers and participants into the Nifty Knitters group at Mustard Seed to enjoy conversation, tea, cookies and their individual projects.   One participant, Lorraine, had never knitted before attending.

Fontbonne Place: An Unexpected Community

She expected her new home to consist of a single room. But Margot was astonished to find her apartment held a bedroom, living room and kitchen.    “I thought the layout was so clever,” says Margo, describing how each of these three areas has two entrances.
